I am a freelance tutor, bilingual in English and Cantonese. It’s up to the parents if they want me to be bilingual when I teach or if they want me to use just English. Usually,for local students who are far behind, I use both languages if it’s useful. For older students, who are tutoring for giving public examinations, I use Cantonese and English as their main goal is to understand how to deliver the best result.
