My name is Katie Vong Hiu Tung, a freshman majoring in applied biology with biotechnology in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I graduated from St. Paul’s Secondary School. I am an organized, optimistic and a good team player. My friends describe me as a encouraging and easy-going person who can get along with comfortably. I am willing to learn and able to adapt to new environment fast. I would like to enhance myself and explore more through accumulating working experience. I got 5 in English, 4 in Maths, Liberal Studies and Biology as well as 3 in Chinese and ICT. I was a school prefect which allows me to develop my leadership and problem solving skills as well as self-discipline. Moreover, it enables my abilty and patience when dealing with junior students. I was a member of the school backstage team which improve my organization and management skills when managing the props and following the rundowns to do my tasks. I was also a council member of the student association which I learnt how to manage loads of information in a short period of time when attending meetings and presentation skills when reporting the information I heard.
