Yuvika Singh

I am a student at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) Business School, majoring in Information Systems. I am also a graduate of an ESF school, where I achieved an A* in both IGCSE English Language and IGCSE English Literature, an A in the IB English Extended Essay, and a Level 6 in IB English Literature (Higher Level). I also achieved a Level 7 in IB Economics Higher Level and a Grade 9/A* in IGCSE Economics. I specialise in teaching primary school English, helping students build confidence in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension. I am patient, encouraging, and experienced in working with young learners. I also specialise in tutoring high school English. Having recently navigated the same exams my students face, I understand exactly where the difficulties lie and how to overcome them. I also tutor high school Economics. I understand exactly where students struggle — whether it's mastering diagrams, applying economic theories to real-world examples, or structuring evaluation essays. My teaching style is clear, structured, and exam-focused. I am willing to travel to different locations across Hong Kong, and students are free to message me at any time of the day with any questions, issues, or requests for help.
